I Am Legend 2 Moving Ahead, As Writer Talks Last Of Us Inspiration
I Am Legend 2, the sequel to the 2007 post-apocalyptic film starring Will Smith, is moving ahead at Warner Bros. Akiva Goldsman, who heads up production company Weed Road, told Deadline that the sequel is inspired by HBO’s The Last of Us and picks up “a few decades” after the first movie. As confirmed previously, Smith will return alongside Michael B. Jordan.
“I’m obsessed with The Last of Us, where we see the world just post-apocalypse but also after a 20-30-year lapse. You see how the earth reclaims the world, and there’s something beautiful in the question of, as man steps away from being the primary tenant, what happens?” Goldsman said. “That will be especially visual in New York. I don’t know if they’ll climb up to the Empire State Building, but the possibilities are endless.”
I Am Legend 2 will also take inspiration from the Richard Matheson book. While the theatrical ending of I Am Legend saw Smith’s character sacrifice himself for the greater good, I Am Legend 2 …
Inside My Radio Review
I’m a firm believer that all skills, even the ones we often think of as innate–artistic talent, athletic ability, imaginative writing–can be taught. It’s just a matter of putting the time and effort into learning to excel (or at least be competent) at something. Rhythm is the exception to that rule. You either have it or you don’t. And I do not. The only reason I could play drums in Rock Band was because of the falling note chart in the game. That I was able to enjoy the rhythmic platforming of Inside My Radio despite my total lack of an inner metronome is a testament to its hypnotic power.
Seaven Studio’s Inside My Radio is a hybrid of Thomas Was Alone’s geometric platforming and the beat-dependent movement of 2012’s criminally underselling Sound Shapes. On a surface covered with blocks set against old-school backdrops, you explore levels through rhythmic jumping, dashing, and smashing. Beyond basic left/right movement, you can only perform more complex actions in…
Joker Sequel Script Is Written, Title Revealed
Writer/director Todd Phillips took to Instagram to share the cover page of Joker 2, which he co-wrote with Joker collaborator Scott Silver. Phillips also shared a photo of star Joaquin Phoenix reading its pages.
The title for the sequel is Joker: Folie à deux, with the subtitle translating as either “folly of two” or “madness shared by two.” It’s a reference to a medical term for a mental disorder shared by two people, or a shared delusional disorder–or possibly hallucinations transmitted from one individual to another. All of which, within the context of the Oscar-winning 2019 film, could refer to how Arthur Fleck’s chaotic villainy is embraced by Gotham City in the first film. Or, it could also refer to Joker meeting Phillips’ version of Harley Quinn. Or even Batman, perhaps. Who can say?
John Wick 4's First Cut Was Extremely Long- "We're So Screwed," Director Remembers Thinking
At 169 minutes, John Wick: Chapter 4 is the longest entry in the Keanu Reeves action series so far, but it was originally even longer. Director Chad Stahelski told IndieWire that the studio never gave him a mandate about length, but when the first cut came in at 225 minutes, or 3 hours and 45 minutes, they knew it was too long.
“To be really honest with you, zero was planned out,” Stahelski said. “Our first cut was three hours and 45 minutes, and it felt like three hours and 45 minutes. We were like, oh, we’re so screwed.”
The lengthy runtime was due in part to how the first cut originally spent more time focusing on the film’s new characters. However, Stahelski and editor Nathan Orloff pared it back to make sure the focus was on Wick. “I wanted to make sure that he was still the center of the universe, that everything always led back to him even though we were cutting away from him,” Orloff said.
Orloff said the idea was to “compress, compress, compress” …
Domino's Nemesis The Noid Returns To Star In Crash Bandicoot Mobile Game For Some Reason
Pizza buyers beware: The Noid has returned. Yes, the pie-swiping villain from the famous ’80s ad campaign has come back for a series of new advertisements from Domino’s Pizza, but that’s not the only place you’ll find him. For a limited time, The Noid will serve as a mini-boss in the mobile runner Crash Bandicoot: On The Run.
While this might seem like a bizarre example of brand synergy, 2021 marks the 35th anniversary of the Noid ads and the 25th anniversary of the release of the original Crash Bandicoot, so we suppose it makes some sense. (Maybe?) Well, regardless, fans of The Noid can pick up limited-edition Noid-themed merch on Amazon. All proceeds from the sales will go to Domino’s independent nonprofit Domino’s Partners Foundation, which provides financial assistance to employees of the company experiencing hardship such as the loss of a loved one.

Fortnite Is Getting New DC Comics Cosmetics All Summer Alongside Comic Arc
Fortnite is coming to print and digital comic shops starting next week for the Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point six-issue comic book run. That much we already knew, as we also knew buying the comics physically or digitally via a DC Universe Infinite subscription would net readers as many as seven new DC Comics cosmetics to use in Fortnite. What we didn’t know until now is that in all cases, you won’t have to buy the comics to get the Fortnite items.
With the debut issue of Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point set to arrive next week on April 20, Epic has shared more details about what to expect if you’re eager to read the story or get some new in-game items. Included in the FAQ is a note that most items included with the comics will be sold in the Fortnite Item Shop day-and-date with their corresponding comic book release.
The only exception is the first one, Rebirth Harley Quinn, dressed in her red and black leather jacket and shorts she’s often been clad in since DC soft-rebooted it…
Legend Of Zelda- Echoes Of Wisdom Review Roundup – Here's What The Critics Are Saying
Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom’s release is tomorrow, where players can play as the titular character for the first time in the main series. Here, Zelda finds herself on a quest to save Link and the kingdom of Hyrule. Aiding her is the fairy Tri, who entrusts the princess with the magical Tri Rod that gives Zelda new powers for puzzle-solving and defeating enemies. The visual style is similar to that of the 2019 remake of The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening.
Available exclusively on the Nintendo Switch, Echoes of Wisdom takes players not only to Hyrule this time around but also the all-new Still World, which is connected to Hyrule through rifts that lead to a different section of it. It’s a place where people, places, and objects are frozen in time. Much like many entries in the Zelda franchise, there are dungeons, each with a boss that must be defeated to progress the story. Many familiar faces of Hyrule lore appear throughout the game, including the Deku …

Madden NFL Video Game Documentary Announced By Prime Video
Prime Video has revealed it’s working on a documentary series about one of the biggest sports video game franchises ever: Madden NFL. The untitled show on Amazon’s streaming service will consist of four parts, covering the beginnings of John Madden Football in the late 1980s and going up to presumably this year’s upcoming Madden NFL release (which hasn’t been unveiled yet).
This Madden NFL documentary will feature “rare and never-been-seen before footage,” according to Prime Video. The four-part series will detail how the football franchise “almost never happened” at EA Sports. It’s also promising to show how the developer “finishes the next generation of the game.”
The Madden franchise started in 1988 with John Madden Football, with the latest release coming out last year as Madden NFL 24. The namesake for the series is John Madden, a legendary coach and broadcaster for the NFL. He died at the age of 85 in late 2021, which led to EA Sports …
